New Blog: Hi
Listen to this post
Welcome. This is my new home on the internet.
I’ve spent the last couple of decades building things. Leadpages. Nomics (exited). The Interactive Offer. And a long list of projects in between, some of which worked and plenty of which didn’t.
And then, for a while, I went quiet.
Where I’ve been
Monk mode.
Heads down, off the radar, hiding out. Not writing much. Not building much in public.
I don’t regret a minute of it, and there’s a lot to say about that season. But it’s over now.
I’m ready to go at it again, and I’ve got more energy than I’ve ever had before.
The thing I keep coming back to
I’ve watched a lot of people build a lot of things, and the ones who get the most done in life are almost never the smartest people in the room.
They’re the ones with a bias towards action.
They start before they feel ready. They ship while everyone else is still deciding whether to ship. They’re not smarter than you . . . they’re just already moving.
That’s most of the game, as far as I can tell.
(I ended up writing a whole piece about the parts of this that never change, no matter what the tooling does: What AI Hasn’t Changed.)
What to expect here
The blog is where the longer-form thinking lives. The announcements list is where the news goes: launches, essays, and projects, sent as a short email when there’s actually something to say.
If you’re interested in what I have coming up, I’d love to keep you in the loop. Subscribe here or hit the button below. That’s the whole pitch.
I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
Talk soon,
Clay
